Student discount benefits
Join or charter a club as a student and save on membership dues and fees.
- Students ages 30 and younger joining any club type pay half international dues (USD$21.50) and get a charter or entrance fee waiver.
- Students over age 30 joining Campus Lions clubs pay a discounted charter or entrance fee of USD $10.00 and full international dues.
Important billing and dues information
Special billing adjustment for Campus Lions clubs
To charter a Campus Lions Club, at least five (5) of the required twenty charter members must be Student members.
Campus Lions clubs qualify for a special billing adjustment period. These clubs may pay January dues by March 31 and July dues by September 30. Lions Clubs International will give credits to Campus Lions clubs for roster adjustments submitted within this time period without penalty.
Dues requirements for chartering student members
In the case of a newly chartered Campus Lions clubs or clubs with a majority of student members, each charter member who qualifies for the Student Member Program is required to prepay one year international dues at the student member rate. Such dues must be submitted with the club charter application. Once the club is established, prepayment of dues is not required.
