Lions Celebrate a Successful Year of Service at Lions Clubs International’s First Virtual Convention 

July 13, 2021 – Nearly 20,000 Lions from 152 countries attended the 103rd annual Lions Clubs International Convention, which was held virtually for the first time on June 25-29. This convention, often referred to as LCICon, is the largest Lions event of the year and a time to celebrate the past year’s humanitarian service efforts. Read more

World’s Largest Service Organization Recognizes 20 Lions and Leos Clubs with Prestigious Kindness Matters Service Award

June 29, 2021 – Out of 48,000 Lions clubs, 20 clubs were recognized for performing an outstanding service project in one of Lions Clubs International’s global cause areas: diabetes, hunger, vision, environment, or childhood cancer. In April, Lions Clubs International presented Lions and Leo clubs with the Kindness Matters Service Awards. Lions Clubs Respond to World Hunger Crisis by Donating More Than 8.3 Million Meals

June 26, 2021 – To commemorate Lions Clubs International’s first virtual convention, Lions clubs around the world celebrated the best way they know how – through service. In May through June 2021, more than 4,700 Lions clubs from 110 countries participated in the Million Meal Challenge to help curb the global hunger crisis. Through the power of community and service, Lions provided more than 8.3 million meals, far surpassing their goal of one million meals served. Read more
