Be an active part of our global partnership! With the theme “The NGO Impact on Global Health,” the 44th Annual Lions Day with the United Nations will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Westin Grand Central Hotel.

Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the UN Headquarters is currently closed to visitors. We will continue to monitor the situation and in the event that the UN does become available to us, the date of the event will stay the same but the venue and times may change.

Guided UN tours

Virtual tours of the UN Headquarters are available while the UN is closed. The one-hour UN Virtual Tour offers an exciting opportunity to explore the United Nations from the comfort of your home. You will have a chance to meet live one of the UN’s multilingual tour guides who will take you on a virtual journey through the history of the United Nations and speak about the Organization’s work in addressing global challenges.

Cancellations and refunds

  • LDUN registration cancellation deadline date: February 4, 2022. No exceptions will be made.
  • All requests for cancellations must be made in writing via email to ldun@lionsclubs.org. No exceptions will be made.
  • LDUN registration cannot be transferred to another Lion, Leo, guest, child, or a future convention or future LDUN event.
  • A processing fee of US$10.00 will be withheld from each approved refund for LDUN registration.

Visa invitation letters

If you require a visa letter, please fill out the request form and send to ldun@lionsclubs.org. Please apply for your visa early, as an interview at your embassy is usually required.
