If the program is held at the United Nations Headquarters, early registration materials pick-up is highly encouraged to minimize wait times outside of the United Nations. Materials must be picked up at the hotel before entering the United Nations.

Attire is business or business casual.
If held at the United Nations Headquarters, please allow at least 30 minutes to go through security.
If held at the United Nations Headquarters, please bring a government-issued photo ID along with your LDUN event badge to go through security. The name on your government-issued photo ID must match the name in your event registration.

The Westin New York Grand Central is the headquarters hotel for Lions Day at the UN Headquarters New York. A special hotel rate of US$265 plus tax is being offered to Lions through Friday, February 20, 2026. Discounted rooms are limited and may sell out prior to the cutoff date.

Guided U.N. tours

Take a guided journey through the corridors of the iconic building where international diplomacy happens. You’ll learn about the history and work of the United Nations and visit the famous General Assembly Hall and Security Council Chamber (meetings permitting).

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refunds must be requested before March 6, 2026. No exceptions will be made after this date.
All requests for cancellations and refunds must be made in writing via email to [email protected]. No exceptions will be made.
Registration cannot be transferred to another Lion, Leo, guest, child, or a future convention or future event.
A cancellation fee of US$10.00 will be withheld from each approved refund for registration.

Visa invitation letters

A visa letter of invitation should not be required. However, if it is requested, you will be able to download one from the confirmation email sent after completing your registration.
