Lions club officers supporting Leos
As an officer of a Lions club sponsoring a Leo club, your knowledge and guidance can help create a culture of collaborative service between your club and your Leo club.

You carry a lot of influence as a Lion and a club officer, so put it to good use in supporting and developing young leaders. You have the power to set the tone for how your Lions and Leos interact and to enhance the relationship between your Lions club and the Leo club you’re sponsoring. And with this influence, you can continue helping your Leos grow — and encourage them to eventually become Lions and continue their service.
Step into your role
In addition to guiding your Leo club, there are a few logistical responsibilities within the Lion Portal that come with being a Leo club sponsor.
Report Leo club advisors
If your Leo club hasn’t reported an advisor, ensure that they are reported with their most up-to-date information in the Lion Portal.
Report officers
Both Lions and Leo club presidents and secretaries, as well as Leo club advisors, can report their Leo club officers. Ensure your officers are reported accurately in the Lion Portal or via the Leo Club Officer Report form.
Report service
You and your fellow Lions club officers, along with Leo club officers, can report your Leo club’s service in the Lion Portal to highlight the dynamic impact your Leos are making.
Should your Leo club need to be canceled at any point, there are steps you or your fellow Lions club officers must take to cancel the club, including submitting a Club Termination form.
