Lions and Leos are part of a fellowship of like-minded individuals working together to make positive change, one community at a time. When you support Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), the Foundation that supports the efforts of Lions clubs and partners, your community expands around the globe. Through grant funding from LCIF, Lions make positive humanitarian impact with their service. Through LCIF’s Facebook page, Lions and Leos come together to share stories, experiences, and knowledge.
The bigger the community, the bigger the change.
So how can we do this?
How to Help
An easy way to build knowledge of LCIF – and therefore grow the foundation’s ability to support humanitarian service – is inviting your Facebook friends to “like” LCIF’s Facebook page. They will learn about LCIF’s causes, see new accomplishments made possible by Lions empowered by LCIF grant funding in their newsfeeds, and be able to donate and/or start a Facebook fundraiser in support of LCIF.
Here’s how:
Go to facebook.com/LCIFLions.
- Hit the LIKE button to like our page if you have not already.
- Hit the button with three dots.
- You will see an option to “Invite Friends.” Select that phrase.
- Invite your Facebook friends to like LCIF by clicking the box next to their names and then clicking the "Send Invites" button. You can also choose to send the invitations through Facebook Messenger.
- To share LCIF’s Facebook page on your newsfeed, hit the “Share” button.
Let everyone know why they should follow LCIF by adding a message to your post about why you support LCIF, how LCIF helps communities near and far, and how the Foundation magnifies Lions and Leos. We also have contests when it comes to celebrating Melvin Jones’ birthday.
There are many ways to expand the LCIF community: like a post, share a video, or simply donate! Every “like” and “share” helps LCIF gain a larger following and more supporters. According to the Facebook Help Center, as of April 2021, you can begin a Facebook fundraiser if you live in one of these countries.
