LCIF provides funding support to Lions and has developed strategic partnerships to help improve outcomes for children with cancer.

Global Statistics


57% of childhood cancer cases go undiagnosed in parts of the world.

CHILDHOOD CANCER SURVIVAL RATES: ≥80% developed countries; ≤20% lesser developed countries.

Cancer is a leading cause of death for children 300,000 new cases annually in 0-19-year-olds.

Global HOPE Partnership

LCIF is partnering with Global HOPE to help address the huge discrepancies in outcomes from childhood cancer in developed countries and developing countries.

Childhood Cancer Grant

LCIF offers grants to Lions districts and multiple districts in amounts from US$10,000 to US$150,000. The goal of the LCIF Childhood Cancer Pilot Grant Program is to improve the quality of life for children receiving treatment and their families.
