LCIF’s grants for the tsunami disaster now total US$470,000 and will climb much higher as needs are continually assessed and requests for assistance are made. Additionally, Lions throughout the world are making pledges of support, including US$120,000 from the Lions of Sweden and US$200,000 from the Lions of Korea. Lions in Japan will make a major pledge. Hundreds of clubs and individuals also have sent funds to LCIF.
