INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

Seiki Yamaura, from Tokyo, Japan, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 93rd International Convention, held in Sydney, Australia, June 28 to July 2, 2010.

Director Yamaura is the CEO of the Tokyo Fuji Color Company.

A member of the Tokyo Shinjuku Lions Club since 1973, he has held many offices within the association, including club president. He also served as a Campaign SightFirst II National Coordinator, Team 20K District Governor Mentor and a LCIF Coordinator.

In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including a Leadership Award, three International President’s Awards and the Ambassador of Goodwill Award, the highest honor our association bestows on its members. He is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.

Director Yamaura and his wife, Chieko, also a Lion, have five daughters and four grandchildren.
