Lions are often the first to respond to disasters, and the last to leave. Lions Clubs International Foundation helps Lions respond to emergencies with grant funding support.
Lions Clubs International Foundation is mobilizing over US$7 million to support immediate relief efforts. This includes major catastrophe grant funding, eight emergency grants of US$10,000 each to the eight affected districts and designated donations from Lions around the world. The Foundation has also established a designated fund for Lions to directly support this disaster. Please visit the Japan news release for updates.
