The sessions involved presentations by facilitators to engender input by participants identifying where leadership problems existed. Small groups were encouraged to discuss a zone meeting with problems and identify the best leadership style i.e. Autocratic, Democratic or Committee. The consensus was a sharing of an authoritarian/democratic leader was a best fit leader

The incoming Officers Traing sessions were renamed to Information Workshops. This tended to attract more interest by participants because they knew that they could participate in discussions and presentations. Percentage of offocers attending was a bit middle of the road but the feedback received supported the new format especially with revamped local Manuals. The manuals took the international manuals and localised the contents to suit the District

i) To create a platform for Nepali and International Leos to develop fellowship and become friends for life and partners in the career of Leoism.
ii) To promote peace and harmony in the region as the camp embraces the theme of Harmony.
iii) To convert the leadership learning into a concrete result that is the camp.
iv) To prepare an environment for cultural exchange.
v) To discuss upon various global agenda and brainstorm the ideas for the solution on ―think global, act local’ basis.
vi) To prepare a Community Action Plan as a conclusion of the event.
Descripción/ Resultados:
We were successful to meet most of our goals and objectives of the conference. The event turned into a big family and such a wonderful environment of fellowship was created within those three days of camp and other outdoor activities. Different interactions and meetings were held to set up plans and strategies for working on the sector of peace and harmony in the region. Even in the event, there was participation from variety of background of Leos, Lions and guests and a beautiful harmonic sentiment was developed. They shared and promoted about their culture and traditions. Also, through the event, a joint community action plan was designed namely Pokhara Protocol according to which all the participating Leo Districts will visit the community schools regularly to engage the students in promoting peace in their area.
