On May 30, 2015 52 Lions around the district gathered at Clarke Prep School in Grove Hill, Al. to train for club president, secretary, treasurer, membership chair, zone chair and guiding lion. Nine lions were certified as Guiding Lions. Seven Leos were also in attendance and assisted in serving lunch and doing the registration. All Lions attended the club president session and then Guiding Lions were in another room as well as zone chairs. All other Lions attended the secretary, treasurer and membership sessions. Several Lions in attendance had never attended any meetings outside the club . I feel that this was a very successful event and the evaluation sheets were very favorable. There were 17 clubs out of 40 represented.
