Officer Training and Zone Chair traning for the 2015-16 year. Leadership training for members.
설명/결과
We had President, Secretary and Treasurer Training. Zone Chair Training and seminars which include Centennial Celebration Projects and Membership Initiatives, New Member Orientation, our District Online Leadership College, Structure of LCI, Member Motivation, Social Media and Websites. We had attendance of 93 Lions from 32 clubs (almost half of our district clubs.) The Day of Training was from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and was well received by all in attendance. Many good comments on the evaluation sheets. We are developing our future leaders and trying to get more of our younger and newer Lions involved.

The goal of this event was to encourage Lions that have been "around a while" and Lions that are "new" to join together to learn what Lions are and what we do. The training tool used was the International PP presentation, tailored to our District. It covered Club, District, MD and International items. It covered each of the charities we serve on all levels, and included what LCIF is and what they do.
설명/결과
The turn out was very low but all of those that attended reported an information session and things learned. I think it met the mission, I just wish that many more would have attended. I will not let the low turn our impact my feelings of doing this session. I have plans of holding two of them next Lionistic year.

The Prentice Lions Club recently served the Prentice area community by purchasing new barrel planters and planting them with a variety of flowers for the summer months on Railroad Avenue in Prentice.
설명/결과
Based on the comments the local community enjoys the flowers.

Completion of the Lions club service project is a benefit to the community by enhancing the local business district along Railroad Avenue.
According to John Anderson of the Prentice Lions Club, “Money raised on Labor Day Weekend "Progress Days" allow Lions to meet pressing needs in our community including such things as scholarships and other special requests that are received. Lions members thank everyone who contributed to this important work. You are truly making a difference in our community.”

Plan, prepare, and execute with the DG and DGE a multi-location COT program to reach as many of next year's leaders as possible with a team-teaching approach.
설명/결과
Selecting four locations that were easily accessible and wi-fi equipped, we constructed a team-teaching approach by officer position that blended LCI materials with district records. This added local content and emphasis, as well as mentorship from PDGs, cabinet members and members of the transition team. This additional important communication helped recruit other club members as Zone Chairs and project leaders. Also, the team effort allowed us to recover from mistakes, fumbles, or when others were not available due to business or family conflicts. We plan to build on this experience next year.
