INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Michael So, from Makati, the Philippines, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 92nd International Convention, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, July 6-10, 2009.
Director So works in the real estate industry.
A member of the Pashy City Host Lions Club since 1990, he has held many offices within the association, including club president, region chair and district governor. He was also a Lead Gift Donor to Campaign SightFirst II.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards, including Lion of the Year, Outstanding Club President of the Year, two Outstanding Region Chair Awards and an International President Award. Director So is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director So is active in numerous professional and community organizations. He is currently the Director of the Filipino-Chinese Charitable Association and the Director of the Philippine So Family Association.
Director So and his wife, Rowena, have a son and two daughters.
