LCIF Panelist in NGO Discussion on China Radio International
December 27, 2009, Oak Brook, Illinois, USA – Lions Clubs International Foundation will be a panelist during a live debate on China Radio International. LCIF Chairperson Al Brandel will represent LCIF as the spokesperson for the live airing.
The panel discussion includes non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and not-for-profit organizations (NPOs) operating in China. The interview will cover the development of the NGO/NPO sector, the challenges, the successes, the scope of operations as well as raising funds, getting a license to operate and other topics.
The live discussion begins Monday, December 28 at 10 a.m. in Beijing and runs for 55 minutes (Sunday, December 27th 9 p.m. EST/ 6 p.m. PST in the U.S.) A recording of the broadcast can be heard on China Radio International's Web site at http://english.cri.cn/7146/2009/12/28/481s538353.htm
