OAK BROOK, IL, September 23, 2009 – Lions Clubs International and Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) recently earned honors from two professional media associations for their new Web site and videos featuring global volunteer efforts and an appeal for disaster relief in China.

After the recent creation and launch of the new www.lionsclubs.org, the Lions Clubs International Web site is the recipient of the 2009 Non-Profit Standard of Excellence WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development from the Web Marketing Association.

Featured on the Lions Clubs International Web site, the association’s LQ (Lions Quarterly Video Magazine) won two Tellys for Charitable/Not-for-Profit Video and Charitable/Not-for-Profit Online Video.  LQ features stories of Lions volunteers all over the world making a difference in their communities.
