Roberto Fresia, from Albissola Marina, Italy, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 96th International Convention held in Hamburg, Germany July 5 through 9, 2013.
Director Fresia is a professional insurance agent.
A member of the Savona Torretta Lions Club since 1981, and a Lion since 1978, he has held many offices within the association, including president, district governor, zone and region chairperson and LCIF multiple district coordinator.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including the 100% Club President Award, three International President’s Certificates of Appreciation and four International President’s Medals. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Fresia is active in numerous professional and community organizations, including the Aurora Insurance Agents Fund, Savona Referee Association and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church.
Director Fresia and his wife, Raffaella, have three daughters. Two of his daughters are Leos and one is a Lion.
