Vision Events

Celebrating Sight

Lions battle preventable causes of sight loss and blindness all year long. But there are special times that we've dedicated to emphasize our fight against vision loss.  At these times, Lions are even more active.

For us, events like Lions World Sight Day, White Cane Safety Day, and Lions Eye Bank Week help us raise public awareness of the issues we address every day of the year. By focusing extra energy to bring Lions together on these days, we are able to emphasize our commitment to service while allowing more people to learn about our work, what it means to be a Lion and how to get involved.
