Lions Eye Banks maintain professional staff that procure, evaluate and store healthy eye tissue for valuable sight-saving functions:
Through Lions Eye Banks, we provide the world with much-needed corneal tissue that surgeons use to restore vision to people with injured or diseased corneas. Researchers also use the tissue, which is valuable in educating new practitioners and exploring new breakthroughs in vision research.
Lions support more than 50 eye banks in nine countries.
