Help for the Blind and Visually Impaired

To provide the highest level of help for the blind possible, Lions Clubs International works in cooperation with the following sight-related organizations:

  • Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO): CAO’S mission is to enhance the quality, availability and accessibility of vision-related health care; promote the independent and ethical decision-making of its members; and assist optometrists in practicing to the highest standards of patient care.
  • Hadley School for the Blind: The school’s mission is to promote independent living through lifelong distance education programs for people who are blind or visually impaired, their families and blindness service providers.
