Projects for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired
Help for the Hearing Impaired
There are many ways in which Lions provide support for people who are deaf or hearing impaired.
Lions Hearing Aid Recycling Program. Lions collect used hearing aids and send them to regional Lions Hearing Aid Recycling Centers for refurbishing and distribution to persons in need.
Lions Recreational Camps. Lions support camps for the deaf that are customized to meet the needs of children and adults who are deaf or hearing impaired.
(US) Lions Affordable Hearing Aid Program (AHAP). Through AHAP, a project of LCIF, Lions provide high-quality, low-cost hearing aids to people of limited income. For more information, please contact our Foundation.

BY THE NUMBERS
LCIF has awarded more than US$729 million in grants to fund more than 10,000 projects since it was founded in 1968. These humanitarian efforts are a direct result of generous support from Lions around the world.
