KnoxNews.com (Tennessee, USA) Oct. 22, 2011 – The Knox North Lions Club adopted the Whittle Springs Middle School, which received special government funding because of the number of low-income families it serves, and provided school supplies and coats to students in need.
Suffolk News-Herald (Virginia, USA) Oct. 19, 2011 – Ten Lions spent five days performing vision screenings on 1,500 children at 24 Head Start Centers, which serve the economically disadvantaged.

Bridlington Free Press (England) Oct. 13, 2011 – The Bridlington Lions Club and the North Wolds Lions Club bought a bike for a learning disabled man after his was stolen and raised money for the Riding for the Disabled Association.
The Lac du Bonnet Leader (Canada) Oct. 13, 2011 – The Lac du Bonnet Lions Club teamed up with 10 high school students to collect 815 pounds of food for a local food bank.
Del Mar Times (California, USA) Oct. 12, 2011 – The Del Sol Lions Club volunteered at the San Diego Food Bank.
Margaret River Mail (Australia) Oct. 12, 2011 – The Margaret River Lions Club funded one year of infant first aid classes for a local mom’s group.
Star News Online (North Carolina, USA) Oct. 11, 2011 – The Wilmington Cape Fear Lions Club screened 55 people for vision problems using the N.C. Vision Van, which is owned by the N.C. Lions Foundation.
The News-Messenger (Ohio, USA) Oct. 7, 2011 – The Lindsey Lions Club, in collaboration with the Fremont Lions Club and the Elmore Lions Club, donated almost $1,400 to help a local man undergoing eye surgery.
The Review (Ohio, USA) Oct. 7, 2011 – The Calcutta Lions Club will send 50 packages to troops serving overseas as part of its Roar for the Troops program.
