Future Conventions

Plans are well underway for future conventions.  Follow the link to learn more about each future convention destination.

  • June 24 - 28, 2016:  Fukuoka, Japan. Located in southwest Japan, the charming City of Fukuoka is a well-balanced harmony between the old and new. Since ancient times, Fukuoka has grown into one of Asia's leading shopping and gourmet centers. Traditional festivals, an abundance of fresh seafood, a modern downtown area and the lively atmosphere of yatai street stalls blend together with the natural beauty of Hakata Bay and Fukuoka's surrounding mountain greenery. Serene nature, urban vitality and heartfelt hospitality are just some of the reasons that make Fukuoka City the place where you want to stay longer.
  • June 30-July 4, 2017: Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Lions Clubs International is celebrating its 100th Anniversary!  Welcome to Chicago!  Set amid one of the world's most magnificent skylines, miles of stunning lakefront, unrivaled architecture, and world-class shopping and dining, the "The City That Works" is the ideal convention destination.  Jam-packed with cultural riches, an abundance of activities, a diverse ethnic population and friendly hospitality, Chicago is an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
  • June 29 – July 3, 2018: MGM Grand Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada.  The MGM Grand Resort will host the Lions Clubs International Convention, Board of Directors Meeting, and the District Governors-elect Seminar all under one roof!  All hotel rooms will be just steps away from the site of the official events. Participate in convention events, enjoy world-class dining and delight in star-studded entertainment all while in the company of your fellow Lions from around the world.
  • July 5 - 9, 2019: Milan, Italy. This forward looking, modern, cosmopolitan city is the second largest in Italy.  Milan is home of Italy’s most important business organizations and is known as a vital European financial centre.  This city is the capital of fashion, design and creativity. The city of Milan dates back to the Roman era.  Milan was also a center of activity during the Renaissance.  Milan boasts cultural gems such as Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper, the Duomo Cathedral, the La Scala Opera House and Castello Sforzesco. Come participate in the 102nd International Convention and enjoy what Milan has to offer; delicious food, rich history and high-end fashion.
