Mobility Rental Needs

Only manual wheelchairs are available to rent in Busan, Korea and are subject to availability.

• Wheelchairs can be delivered to and picked up from your hotel.

• A major credit card will be required for payment.

• Lee Convention can arrange for a manual wheelchair for you.  Please contact Lydia Park at Lee Convention for further information concerning charges and delivery details.

• Please note any damage to the wheelchair prior to renting.  Lydia will provide the proper paperwork to note any damage.

• Lydia will follow up with you and confirm the rental details.

Bringing Guide Dogs Into South Korea

All service dogs entering South Korea must be accompanied by a valid Health Certificate certifying that a rabies vaccination was performed within less than one year, or has a valid date longer than one year, and more than 30 days prior to the animal's arrival in Korea. All animals shall be inspected by the National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service upon arrival.

• If the pet enters South Korea within the specified date of the rabies vaccination and no health problems are found upon inspection, no quarantine confinement is required. 

• If the pet enters South Korea within 30 days from the date of the rabies vaccination, the pet will need to be confined in quarantine until the 30 day immunity period is completed. 

Assuming that guide dogs are from rabies free region(s), the customs process will not take more than one day. Additional details can be found on the National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service Web site.

Airlines often require health certificates for pets traveling with them, so please check with your airline prior to your travel date.
