Travel Agents and Tour Operators

To organize a group of Lions to attend the convention and to obtain a block of rooms at an official LCI hotel, please contact us to request the Tour Operator packet. All travel agents and tour operators must be endorsed by the district leadership of the delegation they represent. For the official endorsement form, please contact us at registration@lionsclubs.org

Registration Procedure for Private Buses

Because of the tight traffic situation at the official locations of the convention in Hamburg it will be necessary to restrict the public traffic.

Only the official Convention Shuttle Buses will be allowed to bring delegates right in front of the locations. All other traffic will not be allowed to stop or park around the locations.

As the inner city of Hamburg will be closed for all traffic except the official Convention Shuttle Buses during the parade there will be no chance for private buses to come near the gathering point.

Because of this situation we offer a traffic regulation for Registered Private Buses only.

Registered Private Buses will receive an exact plan where to drop off / pick up their passengers and park their buses at the official locations. Official permits and signage will be given to those with Registered Private Buses to display in the window of the vehicle.

Only Registered Private Buses with the official permit and signage will be allowed to use these designated spots which are near the official sites. 

Therefore LCI strongly recommends registering these buses to be able to bring the passengers to the official locations.

There is no cost to register your private bus. Please fill in the registration form and return it to Event Transportation Management no later than May 1. You will receive detailed instructions once the application is received and approved.
