Meet friends in Hamburg!
On behalf of the Host Committee I am happy to invite you to the 96th International Convention in the beautiful city of Hamburg, Germany.
Hamburg is located in the north of Germany in the middle of Europe. Culturally, Hamburg offers anything and everything, starting at the Great Hall of Art and the State Opera, and continuing on to the 31 theaters, 6 musical performing halls, 10 cabarets, as well as 50 public and private museums. The 700-meter floating dock "piers" is Hamburg's waterway station. This is where tours of the harbor start, harbor ferries depart, and even imposing luxury cruise ships put in from time to time. Colorful souvenir shops offer waterfront memories to buy, and cozy fish restaurants serve as much fresh plaice or North Sea shrimps as you can eat.
The award-winning conception of BallinStadt revives the world of emigration on ancient grounds from 100 years ago. BallinStadt, Port of Dreams, is the Emigration Museum that bridges the gap between past, present and future, and takes you on a journey of living memories and grasping history.
But words cannot tell what the spirit of Hamburg is about. Visit us, and join the International Convention 2013 in Hamburg to get the vibrations of an openminded, warmhearted city.
The Host Committee is looking forward to meeting you in Hamburg, and we are well prepared to take care of you.
See you in Hamburg!
