Getting Around Busan

Busan traffic can be challenging, especially on busy week days.  To help Lions get around the city to attend convention events most of the main convention events have moved to Saturday and Sunday, when traffic is lighter. 

Staying in one of LCI’s contracted hotels will help registrants by riding the air-conditioned shuttle buses directly to and from BEXCO.  On average, BEXCO is approximately 30 minutes from most LCI hotels.  Look for the shuttle bus transportation schedule in your hotel lobby. 

The subway is also a safe and inexpensive way to get around Busan. 

When taking a taxi during evening hours, be sure to take a hotel business card with you that includes the hotel’s name and address in Korean.  Show the business card to your taxi driver to be sure they know your destination.
