April is Leo Club Awareness Month

Sponsoring a Leo club brings new energy to your Lions club and can increase your club's community exposure by attracting new audiences, such as young professionals and parents. April is Leo Club Awareness Month, the perfect time to consider sponsoring a Leo club that will provide members with camaraderie and growth through participation in community service projects, social functions and leadership development activities. Through Leo clubs, you will have a positive influence on today’s youth and young adults – helping them become better citizens and leaders for life.

Extending Lionism

Membership ExtensionFor Lions, the motto “We Serve” extends beyond our own communities. It also means bringing the service of Lions to surrounding communities in need. Extension involves building new Lions clubs with new service projects geared towards meeting the needs of these surrounding communities. Lions can help with extension efforts by helping Start a New Club, having their club Sponsor a New Club, or becoming a Certified Guiding Lion. For more information on forming new clubs, visit the Membership and New Clubs page or email with any questions.
