We’re pleased to announce that Raj Phairembam, an 11-year-old boy from Moirang, Manipur, India, created this year's grand prize winning poster in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest. Judges chose his poster for its artistic merit and portrayal of the theme, "Vision of Peace." During this year’s international level of judging at the Loyola University Museum of Art in Chicago, many judges expressed how honored they were to take on this task – and how difficult it was to narrow down the posters from so many wonderful images. Two new awards are available to recognize district governors for high club involvement in service campaigns and growth due to service. The Silver Level: Harbor Light Master Award will recognize districts where 50 percent of clubs participate in two of the four Global Service Action Campaigns. The Gold Level: Light Keeper Master Award will recognize districts that meet the requirements for the Harbor Light Master Award, and also exceed membership growth of two percent or more from July 1, 2010 through April 30, 2011.
