LCIF continued its fight against measles by taking part in World Immunization Week, an initiative led by the World Health Organization. Through this event, Lions and their partners encouraged families to vaccinate their children and raised awareness of the life-saving value of vaccines. Lions around the globe contributed to the week’s events. In Haiti, Lions conducted a nationwide measles vaccination campaign. LCIF supported this effort with US$166,000 for measles vaccines. Lions in Africa also participated in the event through African Vaccination Week. You can help eliminate measles by making a donation online.
