Brazil Payment Instructions

BRAZIL – IMPORTANT UPDATE

NOTE:  Your monthly statement of account shows the outstanding balance that you should pay for your club.  To ensure that you receive this statement, please submit your annual PU-101’S promptly, and inform International Headquarters of any change in the Treasurer’s address.

THE CLUB PAYMENTS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LIONS CLUBS IN OAK BROOK SHOULD NOT BE SUBMITTED TO THE OFFICE OF THE FUNDAÇÃO LIONS OF DISTRITO LC-2 IN SÃO PAULO.  PLEASE SEE THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR MAKING A PAYMENT.

The payments for your club made into our Banco Bradesco, Branch 0093, Account Number 88506-1 may be performed in two ways, (1) by using the National Compensation Voucher (recommended) or (2) through the Identified Deposit.

Instructions for the National Compensation Voucher are as follows:

• The Compensation Voucher is personalized with your club’s personal data and has a bar code identifying it with the bank and the system used by our representative in Brazil who assists with payments. This eliminates the risk of another club being able to use a voucher other than their own for payments.
• The Compensation Voucher may be used to make payments in any Bank branch in Brazil.  This also is your automatic payment record.
• If you need additional vouchers issued to your club, you may acquire these by filling out the form on the following internet link: http://www.fundacaolions.org.br/formboletoLI.htm
  
  Then, a set of extra vouchers will be issued to you.

Instructions for the Identified Deposit are as follows:

• Make an IDENTIFIED deposit with Banco Bradesco, Branch 0093, Account Number 88506-1 and request the cashier to record in the IDENTIFICATION only the NUMBER of your club. (Please note that if the payment is performed through transference or simple deposit, it will not be duly identified as having been performed by your club).

Special Note: Amounts that are intended for the Lions Clubs International Foundation as donations made by your club must be duly identified in the proof of deposit clearly showing the CLUB NUMBER AND LCIF WRITTEN IN right next to the club number to ensure they get processed to the Lions Clubs International Foundation Account upon receipt.

If this information is not supplied, your payment may not be processed.  It is our goal to ensure that all payments made by the clubs in Brazil are immediately identified and processed.

To further ensure that your payment will be credited, please send by fax one copy of the National Compensation Voucher or the Proof of Deposit (duly identified) to the attention of the Accounts Receivable Department of the International Association of Lions Clubs in Oak Brook to their direct fax number which is 00xx 1 630 571-1683.

Your payment will be converted and credited at the Lionistic exchange rate in effect the date of deposit.  For this reason, it is important that payment of this statement be made promptly.

**New credit card payment option**
Club Treasurers with a valid WMMR User ID and password can now pay by credit card via WMMR on the Lions Clubs International website.  After logging onto WMMR, choose Club, Statement and Pay Now.  Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit and debit cards are accepted.
