Top Ten Youth Exchange Chairperson Award

Every year, the International Board of Directors selects and awards recognition pins and certificates to the Top Ten Youth Exchange Chairpersons.

During the March-April board meeting, members of the Se rvice Activities Committee select the recipients of the Top Ten Youth Exchange Chairperson A ward. Consideration for this award includes:

  • Promotion of international understanding and goodwill through youth exchange
  • Number of hosting applications received 
  • Number of youth hosted
  • Number of sponsoring applications received
  • Number of youth sponsored
  • Ages and genders of the exchangees
  • Countries involved
  • Participation in international youth camps
  • Cooperation with other youth exchange organizations

All club, district and multiple district youth exchange chairpersons are eligible to apply for this award. District governors or council chairpersons must submit a nomination form to the Youth Programs Department at international headquarters by December 15.
