As part of International President Wing-Kun Tam’s 2011-12 Presidential Program, a Leo Lion Summit is being organized in lieu of the annual Global Leo Conference. President Tam is committed to elevating the significance of Leos within our family of service given that, in many ways, Leos are the future of our Lions’ family. Like any family, all members have a special role to play. We look to Leos for inspiration, energy and a fresh perspective that will help improve our quality of service to our communities and the world.
The first ever Leo Lion Summit will take place at the 2012 Lions Clubs International Convention in Busan, Korea. The summit will help lead to more dialogue between Lions and Leos and allow Lions to better understand those who will one day lead our association. This special event will bring Leos and Lions together from around the world for a productive day, including traditional opening and closing ceremonies, a formal luncheon, breakout sessions and a town hall meeting.
