Qualifications
Leos and Lions nominated for the Leo Club Program Advisory Panel must meet the following qualifications:
Leos
- Be a current Leo member in good standing.
- Keep current knowledge of the principles and procedures of Leo clubs and the Leo Club Program.
- Keep current knowledge of the Leo Club Program resources from the Youth Programs Department, Lions Clubs International and local resources.
- Meet with the panel several times per year via Web conference and/or in person when already planning to attend a forum or convention.
- Stay informed of the latest news about the Leo Club Program.
- Serve as the official liaison between the advisory panel and the Leo district/multiple district and LCI.
- Serve in an advisory capacity with the Youth Programs Department as it evaluates and plans Leo initiatives.
Alpha Leo candidates shall also be one of the following:
- A current Leo district or multiple district officer in good standing. A candidate may be from a single district, a multiple district or a sub-district of a multiple district.
- A past Leo district or multiple district officer in good standing. A candidate must have been a Leo district or multiple district officer within the two fiscal years prior to the fiscal year for which he/she is being nominated.
- A current Leo club president in good standing.
Omega Leo candidates shall also be one of the following:
- A current Leo district or multiple district officer in good standing. A candidate may be from a single district, a multiple district or a sub-district of a multiple district.
- A past Leo district or multiple district officer in good standing. A candidate must have been a Leo district or multiple district officer within the two fiscal years prior to the fiscal year for which he/she is being nominated.
Lions
- Be a current Lions member in good standing in an active Lions club.
- Keep current knowledge of the principles and procedures of Leo clubs and the Leo Club Program.
- Keep current knowledge of the Leo Club Program resources from the Youth Programs Department, Lions Clubs International and local resources.
- Meet with the panel several times per year via Web conference and/or in person when already planning to attend a forum or convention.
- Stay informed of the latest news about the Leo Club Program.
- Serve as the official liaison between the advisory panel and the Leo district/multiple district and LCI.

- A current district or multiple district Leo chairperson in good standing. A candidate may be from a single district, a multiple district or a sub-district of a multiple district.
- A past district or multiple district Leo chairperson in good standing. A candidate must have been a district or multiple district Leo chairperson within the two fiscal years prior to the fiscal year for which he/she is being nominated.
