Age-Related Macular Degeneration is an eye disease that causes loss of central vision, leaving only peripheral, or side vision, intact. It usually does not lead to total blindness.

Currently, there is no cure for AMD, but early detection can ensure that all treatment options remain available. Regular eye tests are an absolute necessity.
