How Lions Can Help the Hadley School for the Blind

Lions have the opportunity to share this educational resource with people who may benefit from the Hadley courses. Course topics include: Adjusting to vision loss, age-related macular degeneration, literature, math, science, technology, chess, container gardening, and so much more.

  • Through "distance education" students learn at home, at his/her convenience.
  • Course materials arrive in the mail or via the Internet.
  • Students consult with instructors via mail, e-mail, fax or phone (toll-free if US or Canada).

There is no cost to Lions to refer a person to the Hadley School for the Blind. In addition, a Lion who refers a student who enrolls in a Hadley course may receive Hadley’s attractive “President’s Award” pin from the Health and Children’s Services Department.
