Known as the "Melvin Jones" recycling center of Lions Multiple District 116, the center began in 1998 in Tarragona and is currently located in Alicante, Spain.
To date, the center has provided eyeglasses to Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Chile, Cote d'Ivorie, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Uruguay, and Western Samoa.
