The New Jersey Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center receives approximately 1.2 million pair of eyeglasses each year. The eyeglasses at the Center are processed with the help of students from the Katzenbach School for the Deaf and the Special Service School for the Mercer County Community. Prisoners from three State Correctional Institutions are also utilized for eyeglass processing.

The Center continually sponsors missions to Haiti, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, assisting optometrists and other medical professionals. The Center also coordinates equipment loans between other Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers and mission groups.

Mission teams may request a supply of glasses by completing and submitting the "Eyeglass Request Order Form". The form is on the website www.njlerc.org.  Please read the shipping and handling policy before downloading the form. Submitting the "Eyeglass Request Order Form" confirms your agreement to accept the NJLERC shipping and handling policy as described within. Send requests to Alan P. Brewer, President. FAX: 609-530-3485 and to the NJLERC FAX: (908) 788-5467
