Project Idea Sheet:  Organize a Hearing Screening for Preschool and School Age Children:   Your club can provide a valuable service in the community by organizing free hearing screenings to identify possible hearing loss in children.  Implement guidelines outlined for you in this project idea sheet.

Hearing Aid collection Resources:   access materials to help you promote hearing aid recycling and increase public participation in your community.

Sight & Sound Newsletter:  an e-newsletter that features program-related news, ideas and Lions’ projects.  From this page, access newsletters for this and other related programs as well: Diabetes Awareness and Children in Focus.

Recreational Camp List:  a listing of recreational camp programs for children and adults with special needs.  Lions support recreational camp programs that are customized to meet the special needs of persons who are deaf-blind, deaf or hard of hearing.  Lions provide support to camps in many ways, and they often provide assistance for an individual to attend a special needs camp.

Service Dog Schools:  a listing of service and assistance dog schools.  Many schools on the list have programs that train dogs to assist people who are deaf or hard of hearing, providing them with independence and security.
