Mission Statement: conduct and support local and large-scale effort leading to the control and treatment of diabetes and its complications through education, prevention and research.

Diabetes is increasing worldwide. The number of people living with diabetes is estimated at 382 million and is expected to rise to 592 million by 2035 (International Diabetes Federation).
