Mission Statement: To conduct and support local and large-scale effort leading to the control and treatment of diabetes and its complications through education, prevention and research.

Diabetes is increasing worldwide.  The number of people living with diabetes is estimated at 371 million and is expected to grow to 552 million by 2030 (International Diabetes Federation).
