Environmental and Community Services

Lions Environmental and Community Service programs provide clubs with resources to plan service activities focused on the environment – and the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of their communities.  

Environmental Services

Lions have organized service projects in support of the association’s policy on the human environment for more than 30 years. Today, Lions environmental projects are among the top five areas of service among clubs worldwide. Specific adopted programs include:   

Lions are also encouraged to organize service activities as part of the “Protecting Our Environment” global service action campaign, and in celebration of Earth Day (April 22) and UN World Environment Day (June 5).
