LCI Is Going Green

Lions have made a strong commitment to preserving the environment for more than 30 years.  Clubs illustrate this through their unwavering engagement in service projects that address important environmental challenges and improve the communities in which they live.

During the 2011-2012 fiscal year Lions reported planting over 15 million trees. Every tree planted by Lions was part of a large scale effort by members around the world to make a significant impact on the environment.

Although the tree planting campaign is over, Lions can continue to build on the momentum by helping LCI go green. The following are a few examples of the changes we are making and how Lions can get involved.
