New Club Development Workshops

New Club Development Workshops are available in a flexible three, four or five day format in the following areas:

Districts can submit a request to have a new club development consultant come to their district to train and assist in the formation of a new club. Consultants are Lions with extensive knowledge in forming new clubs and are ready to assist your district.

To request a workshop, complete the online form by clicking on the appropriate area above. Once a request has been approved by Lions Clubs International, the district will be assigned a new club development consultant. Because all districts are different, the consultant will work with the club organizer on the logistics of the workshop and the district objectives.

Optional, but strongly encouraged

Before the consultant arrives to the district the following must be completed by the district:

  1. Identify two Certified Guiding Lions.
  2. Complete a Community Needs Assessment for the prospective area(s).
  3. Schedule meetings with community leaders to inform and invite them to become a member.
  4. Print out recruiting flyers with details of the informational meeting.
