Leo to Lion Program

Build upon your leadership skills. Experience more community service. Take the opportunity to receive a special dues discount and continue volunteering with Lions Clubs International ... as a Lion!

Graduating Leos, between the age of legal majority and through age 30, have two ways to join a Lions club:

1. Be invited to join a Lions club and receive a special charter/entrance fee waiver and pay only half international dues.

2. Charter a Leo Lions club with other graduating Leos and peers. The young adults you recruit, through age 30, also receive the charter/entrance few waiver and pay only half international dues.

To take advantage of this special opportunity for graduating Leos (pdf), have your Lions club secretary complete certification online using the WMMR, or submit the paper certification form (pdf) with the monthly membership report or club charter application.

Additional Benefits

Additional benefits for graduating Leos, available from the Youth Programs Department include:

  • Credit for years of service (pdf)
  • Credit for offices held as a Leo
  • Entrance/charter fee waiver for graduating Leos, including those over age of 30, with submission of the Leo Completion of Service Certificate
