Invite your family to participate in your club's next community event, because as a family unit, you can receive a dues discount when volunteering together.

As a Lions family unit you can:

  • Increase quality family time
  • Be a role model
  • Help your community

The Family Membership Program applies to family members eligible for Lions membership in and/or joining the same club and living in the same household related by birth, marriage and other legal means - such as parents, children, spouses, aunts/uncles, cousins, grandparents and in-laws of spouses.

To be part of the Family Membership Program, your club secretary must complete the Family Unit Certification Form or file online.

Bring the Kids

The new Cub Program helps support family-friendly clubs. Formulated special to encourage families to volunteer together, children under age 12 have the opportunity to build a lifelong dedication to helping others.

Cubs are divided into the following age groups:

  • Level I: Age 3 and under
  • Level II: Age 4-7
  • Level III: age 8-12

The Lions Family Cub Program Activity Guide and Family Cub Program Activities are filled with age-appropriate activities. Clubs may also wish to order distinguishing Cub patches by age level to help Cubs feel like part of the club and get them excited to participate.
