Training Events – Regional Institutes

The Regional Lions Leadership Institute program allows multiple districts to apply for funding to support leadership training institutes in their own multiple district. The curriculum of the Regional Lions Leadership Institute is based on that of the LCI-sponsored Lions Leadership Institute. The Leadership Division provides specific guidelines in an effort to maximize quality. Approved Regional Lions Leadership Institutes are eligible for an amount equal to US$143 per confirmed institute participant, up to a maximum of US$10,000 or 50% of the total cost.

Upon request, a comprehensive packet of material will be mailed to each multiple district. This packet contains information regarding the 2010-2011 Regional Lions Leadership Institute program, including the official policies and procedures, Regional Lions Leadership Institute Funding Application Form, planning guidelines, a sample schedule and a Reimbursement Claim Summary Form.

Regional Lions Leadership Institute Funding Request Applications must be submitted to the Leadership Division. To qualify for consideration, completed 2010-2011 applications must be received by the Leadership Division no later than April 30, 2010. Applications received AFTER this deadline will be considered as long as funds remain available.

To request a 2010-2011 Regional Lions Leadership Institute information packet and funding request application, please contact the Leadership Division via email at: leadership@lionsclubs.org.  Packets will be available beginning January 2010.  Funding is on a first come, first served basis.
