Goals: We carried out orientation to the would-be Lions member to be recruited in a new club.
I invited the sponsoring club, Soroti, and a 1 day training was conducted that covered all aspects of who are Lions, the history of Lions, and the club and District set up.
It also included the role of a member in the club, club activities, committees, member obligations and active participation, and meeting the financial obligations.
Thirty eight new members were trained and 15 lions participated.
Description/Results: The meeting also saw the filling of the new charter form. Subsequently, Kumi Central Lions Club was chartered in November 2012 with 31 members.
In February 2013, I accompanied the District Governor 411B for the charter presentation ceremony where three other new members were also inducted to increase Kumi Central Membership to 34.
This club's activities include: road safety activities which were witnessed by many residents and senior District officials. This was proceeded by Lions Zebra crossing painting and a radio talk show.
Regional Lions Leadership Institute

National Faculty Development Institute
Goals: To have trained lion trainers who will engage into further spreading the lions knowledge and create future leaders and lions dedicated to serving the community thus making the district stronger and help retaining the members.
Description/Results: In accordance with the Strategic Plan of the District, the concept of leadership development is to train all lions, reach to all clubs and bring the district and the international association closer to the members. The first step was to prepare a group of lions leaders to become trainers and help spread the knowledge and skills necessary for being a successful leader. In preparation of the Regional Lions Leadership Institute, and the implementation of the Leadership Development Priorities of the Strategic Plan our district hosted a National Faculty Development Institute (NFDI), which took place in February 2012 in Skopje. At the NFDI International Director Gudrun Yngvadottir of Iceland, Chairperson of the Leadership Development Committee of the International Board of Directors was the lecturer, while First Vice-District Governor Andreja Stokovski, acted as facilitator. Through the Institute 17 lion leaders were trained and became members of the Faculty of the Lions Leadership Institut

Goals: Need for membership growth & Enhancement of leadership skills
Description/Results: A wide range of topics were taken up to review and motivate the Leaders of the Club and District.
