Goals: GMT/GLT Seminar Mission of “Panchamani” – Aspiring to reveal the secrets to reduce the stress along with providing appropriate guidance on GMT and GLT to our beloved Lion members along with their families of Dist 323-H1 project “Panchmani” was planned. Keys to happy successful life are Family Support, Friendship, Passion and Compassion; Mission Panchmani is to provide the key to unlock the doors... was the mission. And Lionism is a way of Life was slogan.
Description/Results: The best possible place was Panchmari, which is the unsurpassed mesmerizing tourist hill station retreat destination. The month of November worked as the cherry on the cake which gave us astonishing response of 188 registrations of 71 families. All the Lion Members of Dist. 323-H1 and spouses were invited (Information Brochures). Nov 18,Friday Pachmari; all the registered delegates arrived between 3.00pm to 5.30 pm. The registration team handed over the hotel room keys,program details and conference kits to the delegates and everyone check-in their rooms with a huge smile after looking at the respective name tags which were already placed on the doors. Everyone was thrilled after getting the surprise of welcome cards in the room. All the delegates and honorable speakers were welcomed in a soothing atmosphere. The first session was conducted at 7:10 to 9:30 on “Ristye Kaise Nibhaye”. New and older Lions members participated together, learning and having fun at the same time. It gave insight on small things of day to day life which are over shadowed by materialistic world and which causes stress. Simple communication between family members is needed to strengthen bond between generations. Saturday 19th Nov. The day started with an awe-inspiring session on Attitude, followed by a session on Team Work. After a break, there was a session on the secrets of Motivation. Following this session was a presentation of knowledge on leadership and the GLT. The day concluded with the evening special banquet with presentation of recognition certificates and honors. The next morning was open for enjoyment of the beauty of Panchmari by all Lions and their families.

Quick Start Presidential Training
Goals: To provide training for all 2011/2012 MD 105e Presidents so they have knowledge, expertise & confidence to carry out the role effectively
Objectives - all 105E Presidents for 2011/2012 will be able to explain the DG's vision for the District. - Presidents will discuss and understand the responsibilities of the role. - all presidents can state the responsibilities & accountabilities of the club secretary & treasurer. - individual leadership & development needs will have been identified

Description/Results: Members lead busy lives so it is important that leadership training is focused and relevant.
This innovative session is a potential model event for all incoming Presidents as in 2.75 hours it covers all key areas as well as creating the opportunity for further individual leadership development.
Presidents are better trained and more confident going into their year. The 105E GLT co-ordinator visits zone meetings to give follow up sessions.

Goals: 01.TO HAVE AN INDEPTH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT LIONISM. 02.TO MEET LIONS FROM ACROSS INDIA AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES. 03.TO LEARN ABOUT LIONISM IN A CLASSROOM ENVORONMENT AWAY FROM OUR DAILY HUSTLE AND BUSTLE . 04.TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS ABOUT LIONISM FROM OTHER PARTICIPANTS. 05.TO ASPIRE TO BECOME A TRAINER IN LIONISM AFTER GATHERING THE NECESSARY SKILLS FROM THE INSTITUTE. 06.TO MEET SENIOR TRAINING FACULTY AND UNDERSTAND THEIR METHOD OF TRAINING.
Description/Results: It was indeed a marvelous learning opportunity as well as a chance to have fellowship with 98 other Lions from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal & Bangladesh. The faculty comprising of illustrious and experienced Past District Governors, put in their best efforts to see that not a single minute got wasted and ensured that we had a very interactive and informative learning experience. The topics covered ranged from Leadership Fundamentals, Lions- Past, Present and Future, Project Management, Communication, Presentation Skills, Supporting Teams, Conflict Resolution, LCI Programs and Resources, Diversity, Creative Thinking, LCIF to Lions Mentoring.On the very first day, after an interesting naming exercise, our current Slli Group was christened “99 Gems to Lead ”.We were divided into 8 small groups for one to one mentoring and coaching. The best activity was to enact a 4 minute skit on aany topic concerning lionism.On the last day, each lion was encouraged to speak for 3 minutes on any topic.
