Leadership is critical to the future of Lions Clubs International.

As a Global Leadership Team multiple district or district coordinator, you play an important role in identifying potential Lion leaders and in ensuring the delivery of quality training and development programs. Your efforts, as a key member of the GLT, will positively impact our association, assuring our position as the global leader in providing needed community service for many years to come.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the various training and development support tools available online in the Leadership Resource Center. Each has been developed to support the development of Lion leaders and can be easily adapted to suit the specific needs of your area.

• GLT-MD Coordinator Position Description
• GLT-MD Resource Guide – a comprehensive guide designed to support your efforts as a GLT-MD Coordinator. A variety of practical tools and resources are included.
  • GLT Multiple District Activity Report - This report is designed to communicate information related to training and leadership development activities, results and needs.
  • GLT Multiple District Leadership Assessment - This assessment tool is designed to determine training and leadership development programs already in place in the multiple district, and to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • GLT Multiple District Leadership Development Plan -To be completed by MD GLT coordinator in conjunction with MD GLT team and district representatives.
• GLT-D Coordinator Position Description

  This program offers limited funding to support the delivery of critical training and development programs to support clubs.
• GLT Informational PowerPoint presentation – a presentation you can use to inform Lions in your area about the structure, objectives and activities of the Global Leadership Team and the Global Membership Team.
• Lions Leadership Profile Tool – a checklist designed to identify potential Lions leaders and to track their development. You can use this form to record past experiences and to indicate opportunities for development that have been suggested and acted upon.

• The LEADER NETWORK – quarterly e-newsletter focused on Lions leadership development
