The GLT District Funding Support Program offers limited funding to support district level training of Zone Chairpersons. Global Leadership Team District Coordinators (GLT-D Coordinator) of record are eligible to submit funding request.
Eligible expenses will be reimbursed on a matching funds basis, in an amount up to US$ 500 per district per year on a first come, first served basis. Eligible expenses qualifying for reimbursement include meeting room rental, materials, audiovisual equipment rental, and meals and lodging expenses for qualified zone chairperson participants and instructors.
The success of Zone Chairperson training is contingent upon the active involvement and support of all involved, especially the GLT at the district level. By providing this key training opportunity, you are helping to insure the development of strong clubs and effective leaders. The ultimate result will be a more vibrant future for Lions Clubs International.
